The Spot I am a spot in the Universe, floating and turning freely in space. My essence, my individual being, my characteristics of self can each be visualized as a line, intersecting my spot-being. Each different attribute passes through my center at a different place on its own line/continuum. For instance, the patient/impatient line intersects me about in the middle, the line representing my ability to interact with the outside world is further toward one end than the other, and my sensuality is also towards one end. As I float through time my spot-lines can move freely through my center, creating a fluid, undulating being, with little resistance or tension. Because each characteristic is on a continuum, and is different for each spot being, each of us has a completely unique look at every given moment, as there are an infinite number of characteristics and proportions. As I move through space I see what appears to be an umbilical cord, like on the early human space ships, with one end attached to the center of me where all the lines intersect. In no way does the tether encumber me, though if I give it a gentle little tug, I begin to see another creature float towards me, a being that looks a lot like I look. His lines are colored like mine, with a wide array of blue, purple, and fluorescent pink, though the lengths of his pink are slightly shorter than mine, and some of his purple are longer. When we come together we become one entity, one spot floating and turning freely in space. We let the intensity of the moment completely overtake us until we become, together, one with the Universe.
